A leading company in the cooling and data center solutions industry is seeking an Industrial Painter for their Nisku facility. The role involves operating equipment for coating products, applying protective coatings, and ensuring safety standards. Candidates should have experience in industrial painting and be able to work independently. This position offers rotating day shifts and requires a valid driver's license for commuting.

Our manufacturing facilities are located in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, and Nisku. This role is based in Nisku; therefore, a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required for commuting. We offer rotating day shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM (WW-OO-WWW-OO-WW-OOO).
Tend and operate equipment used for spraying or coating products and applying protective or decorative coats.
Prepare and apply stencils, decals, and other decorative items on finished products.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Inspect surfaces for contamination prior to painting.
Apply high-performance protective coatings to metal surfaces, fabricated parts, assemblies, and structures.
Possess knowledge of chemical application techniques.
Paint using spray, brush, and roller methods, as appropriate.
Select and mix appropriate paints.
Clean equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed.
Follow all safety standards outlined in Silent-Aire's safety program and comply with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.
Perform other duties as required.
Ability to operate industrial pressure paint spray guns.
Experience painting sheet metal.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as an industrial painter in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with industrial spray guns.
WHMIS Certification.
Ability to work independently.
Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to lift and move equipment or supplies exceeding 25 pounds.
Ability to distinguish colors.
Completion of college, vocational, or technical training in a related field is an asset.
Work environment is commercial/industrial.
Exercise caution due to potential hazards in the environment.
Adhere to safety policies and wear protective equipment at all times.
Long periods of standing.
Overtime may be required.
