Job summary

Gerdau Ameristeel Corp. is seeking qualified industrial mechanics/millwrights in Canada to inspect, repair, and install mechanical equipment across a heavy manufacturing plant.

Applicants will service pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, receive work orders, and follow safety and maintenance procedures. The role requires a valid 433A or 426A certificate, experience in manufacturing, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Qualification (Industrial Mechanic/Millwright – 433A) is required.
• Construction Millwright- 426A is acceptable.
• Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork across trades.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, repair, replace, adjust mechanical equipment in the plant.
• Service pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
