Job summary
Aerotek is seeking a hands-on Millwright/Industrial Mechanic for an Edmonton-based contract role. You will dismantle CNC machinery, disconnect hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and prepare equipment for transport or reinstallation.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial maintenance or millwright roles and can read blueprints and troubleshoot mechanical issues. This onsite position offers day shifts and a focus on safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience.
- Experience with CNC machinery or manufacturing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, drives.
- Experience with installation, relocation, or decommissioning of machinery.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate rigging equipment.
Responsibilities
- Decommission and dismantle CNC machines and industrial equipment.
- Disconnect hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Rig, lift, and move machinery with cranes and forklifts.
- Label, document, and organize components for transport or reinstallation.
- Read blueprints and troubleshoot during disassembly.
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
