Ice River Sustainable Solutions is looking for two licensed 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwrights) to join our team in Feversham, Ontario.
This is not a traditional maintenance role. You'll begin your career with Ice River supporting major capital projects and new high-speed production line installations, working alongside our engineering and project teams to build, install, commission, and optimize manufacturing equipment. If you enjoy fabrication, rigging, mechanical installations, and bringing new equipment to life, this is an exciting opportunity to work on some of our most significant manufacturing projects.
Successful candidates will begin in a dedicated Projects role, supporting major capital projects and new production line installations at our Feversham facility. This initial assignment is expected to last approximately six months and will primarily be scheduled on straight days. Upon completion of the projects, employees will transition into a permanent role based on operational needs, which may include the Projects Team, the Feversham Maintenance Team, or another nearby Ice River facility. Permanent placement may require a continental shift schedule.
This position requires frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders, kneeling, crouching, bending, lifting, carrying, and working in physically demanding industrial environments. Work may involve working at heights, in confined spaces, around active construction zones, and within operating manufacturing facilities. Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and industrial equipment should be expected. Appropriate personal protective equipment must be worn at all times.
Please let Ice River Sustainable Solutions know if you require accommodation during the hiring and selection process and we will work with you to make appropriate arrangements. Ice River Sustainable Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
We are committed to equity, diversity and inclusivity in the workplace, we welcome applications from women, racially visible individuals, people with disabilities, indigenous peoples, and LGBTQ2S+ persons.
