The Industrial Millwright is responsible for installing, dismantling, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment used to produce goods according to company plans, blueprints, and diagrams. This position requires troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment. The Millwright also repairs malfunctioning equipment such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, and other machines.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Inspect machinery upon arrival, unload parts, and assemble them safely using hand and power tools.
  • Relocate unassembled equipment, positioning machinery and components for assembly using hoists, dollies, and trucks.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures.
  • Dismantle machines using hammers, crowbars, wrenches, and other tools.
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum Experience Required
  • Five (5) years of related experience.
License(s) and/or Certification(s) Required
  • Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certification (433A).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures.
