Qualifications

Your qualifications:

• Required Education : Diploma in Industrial Mechanics (Red Seal is an asset)
• Required years of experience: 2 to 5 years in industrial mechanics is an asset. However, any experience will be considered
• Be willing to work shifts, weekends and holidays
• Welding certifications is an asset
• Experience working in fixed equipment used in a type of production process
• Be able to communicate in french
• Meet JDI selection criteria

Responsibilities

The job:

• Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical and industrial machines and equipment in a production environment
• Troubleshooting, repair, assembly, preventive maintenance of machines
• Read prints and sketches competently to manufacture equipment and make modifications
• Monitor maintenance activities daily and assess emergencies
• Repair or replace chains, conveyor belts, gearboxes, hydraulics, welding, cutting,etc. using power tools
