Job description

Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright in our Windsor, Ontario Cold Stamping Facility. The Millwright/Mechanic is responsible for supporting production. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a stamping environment, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance support to all areas of production ensuring both machines and facilities are maintained to operate in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Strong troubleshoot abilities to diagnose equipment failures routine and non-routine.
  • Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs.
  • Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Stamping equipment i.e. feed line systems experience is an asset.
  • 3-5 years manufacturing environment working with industrial machinery.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, midnights).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A).
