Job summary

Technica Mining in Timmins, Ontario is seeking Industrial Mechanic Millwrights to join our growing team across underground sites. Multiple positions available, with a 4-on-3, four 10-hour shifts schedule.

You will install, repair, and maintain mining equipment in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment. Applicants must hold a valid Millwright license, have strong diagnostic skills, and be willing to work underground.

Qualifications

• Valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright license required.
• Experience with repairs, overhauls, installations, dismantling, modifying, replacing, adjusting, testing, lubricating, and maintaining plant and mine equipment and tools.
• Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
• Strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Willingness to work at any of the underground mine sites Technica operates.

Responsibilities

About the Position

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our growing team as Industrial Mechanic Millwrights in Timmins, Ontario. Multiple positions are available, and we are actively hiring to support the continued success of our operations.

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Installing, troubleshooting, dismantling, reassembling, overhauling, and repairing machinery and equipment according to layout plans
• Operating hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up, and repair of equipment
• Performing scheduled, emergency, and preventative maintenance in the shop, plant, field, and underground
• Following daily line-ups and executing scheduled work in accordance with health and safety standards and manufacturer specifications
