Job summary

DynaIndustrial in Saskatoon is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic / Millwright to join our team. You will work on a variety of custom projects and equipment rebuilds in a dynamic shop environment, contributing to high-quality solutions for our customers.

Ideal candidates have experience with pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, cylinders, centrifuges, conveyors, or mining equipment, plus strong troubleshooting, reading drawings, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification is an asset.
  • Apprentices and those with relevant industrial mechanical experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience repairing pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, cylinders, centrifuges, conveyors, or mining equipment is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Rebuild, repair, and maintain a variety of industrial and mining equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and identify repair solutions.
  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble, and test mechanical components and systems.
  • Perform pressure testing and quality inspections as required.
  • Measure components to determine repair or replacement requirements.
  • Source and select replacement parts and materials.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems and components.
  • Interpret drawings, blueprints, and sketches to determine work procedures and material requirements.
  • Assemble custom-designed industrial and mining equipment incorporating mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
  • Prepare technical reports documenting failure modes and repair recommendations.
  • Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect tools and equipment regularly and report defects or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Industrial Mechanic / Millwright

DynaIndustrial is a Saskatchewan-based engineering and manufacturing company specializing in the custom design, manufacturing, repair, and rebuild of heavy industrial equipment. We proudly serve customers in the mining, steel, pipe mill, and oil & gas industries across North America.

We are currently seeking an Industrial Mechanic / Millwright to join our Saskatoon team. This is an opportunity to work on a wide variety of custom projects and equipment rebuilds in a dynamic shop environment while contributing to high-quality solutions for our customers.

Unlike many traditional maintenance positions, this role offers exposure to diverse equipment, challenging repair projects, and custom-built industrial systems. Candidates with experience working on centrifuges, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and mining equipment will be considered strong assets. We welcome applications from all experience levels, including apprentices looking to expand their skills.

This position may involve periodic travel to customer and mine sites throughout Saskatchewan. As a condition of employment, candidates must be able to meet site-specific safety requirements, including drug and alcohol testing when required.
