Job summary

Nutrien is hiring an Industrial Mechanic to join our Saskatchewan operations. You will diagnose, maintain and repair mill equipment, ensuring safe, reliable production and compliance with safety policies. A Red Seal Industrial Mechanic and 3–5 years’ industrial experience are preferred, along with strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

What You'll Do:

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all Nutrien safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task and ensure the safety of fellow employees
• Provide technical diagnosis, perform maintenance, complete troubleshooting and repair work on all Mill equipment
• Support continuous improvement programs by maintaining equipment records and repair history and providing data for cause and failure analysis

What You'll Bring:

• A valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Certificate of Journeyperson Status (Red Seal) as an Industrial Mechanic
• Positive Safety behavior and safety leadership
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors
• Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
• Ability to make and implement decisions under all conditions
• Stable work record with 3 to 5 years’ experience, preferably in an industrial environment is an asset
