Responsibilities

• Apply and promote safety standards for yourself and your colleagues.
• Propose performance improvement projects.
• Intervene and participate in the resolution of mechanical and electrical problems.
• Assemble mechanical equipment.
• Develop your knowledge by working on new equipment that is always at the cutting edge of technology.
• Perform maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Repair and/or replace defective machinery parts.
• Respond to emergency calls by providing technical support to production and other departments.
• Participate in the implementation and start‑up of equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Holds or is in the process of obtaining a degree related to electromechanics or industrial mechanics.
• Solution‑oriented and likes to be in action.
• Manages priorities and multiple tasks well.
• Skilled in computerized technologies – touch screens and automated systems.
• Takes initiative and perseveres in the face of different challenges.Can make decisions quickly.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a comparable environment (salary according to experience).
• Knowledge of French and/or English.

Compensation

Rate: $34.83 – $40.80 / hour (depending on experience).
