JBS Food Canada ULC in Brooks, AB, invites applications for an Industrial Meat Cutter at the main Brooks facility. You will process beef carcasses into primal cuts, debone meat, and prepare portions for institutional and wholesale purposes.

Safety gear and varied conditions form part of the daily environment. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or meat-cutting program completion, plus basic English skills and the stamina to stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma may be required.
• Completion of an industrial meat cutting program or 1–2 years’ industrial butcher experience.
• Basic English skills.

Responsibilities

• Cut beef or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further processing and packaging.
• Debone meat and operate cutting equipment including saws.
• Cut meat into specified cuts for institutional, commercial or wholesale use.
