JBS Food Canada ULC is seeking an Industrial Meat Cutter for our Brooks, AB facility. Responsibilities include cutting beef into primal cuts, deboning, and preparing products for wholesale while wearing PPE in various environments.

Requires a meat cutting program or 1–2 years of industrial butcher experience and basic English skills. The role is permanent, full-time with competitive wages under the collective agreement and a slate of benefits.

Formación

• High school Diploma may be required.
• Completion of a program in industrial meat cutting or 1 – 2 years’ experience as an industrial butcher is required.
• Basic English skills

Responsabilidades

• Cut beef or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing or packaging.
• Debone meat, including the operation of saw.
• Cut meat into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as provided by the Employer.
• Work in environments including wet, humid, cold, hot, inside or outside.
• Handle animal blood and various parts of a butchered animal.
