Job summary

Cain & Associates is seeking a maintenance technician to perform daily checks and service on packaging and automation equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will maintain conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, depalletizers and labelers, while ensuring safety and quality systems are followed.

Strong PLC/electrical/mechanical skills and teamwork are essential. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in plant/manufacturing, a high school diploma, and be comfortable

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance experience in plant, warehouse or manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems and mechanical tools
• Ability to read manuals and blueprints and locate parts
• Excellent ability to work in a fast-paced team with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily routine checks on equipment to detect damage or repairs
• Service machines including conveyors, palletizers, wrappers and labelers
• Maintain and repair PLC, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical machinery
• Troubleshoot equipment and associated hardware with minimal supervision
• Support operators when equipment malfunctions and assist in problem resolution
• Participate in training and development of team members
• Comply with Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP systems and safety rules
• Perform other duties as assigned
