We’re seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Kingston, NY. This hands-on role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting, particularly with automation and electrical controls.

This is a first shift, direct hire opportunity offering excellent pay and long-term stability.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or associate degree
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Strong electrical knowledge, including reading blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency with tools and systems for hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls
• Familiarity with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Omron, etc.) is highly desirable
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, maintenance software)
• Must be self-directed, dependable, and physically able to work in a factory setting

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on electrical (AC/DC), mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machinery and automated controls
• Assist with the assembly and maintenance of hydraulic power units
• Occasionally travel to customer sites to support equipment installation or servicing
• Complete accurate logs and documentation through a CMMS system
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with OSHA and 5S standards
• Share knowledge with teammates and support training initiatives
• Fill in for team members when needed
