Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our equipment and facilities remain reliable, safe, and efficient. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined, hands-on individual with a strong aptitude for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement.

You will work with a variety of equipment and collaborate across departments to minimize downtime and support production goals. If you take pride in your craftsmanship, enjoy solving technical challenges, and value a clean and safe work environment.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns, minimizing production downtime
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues
  • Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed using maintenance software
  • Assist with process improvements and contribute to equipment upgrades
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed, including use of PPE and lockout / tagout procedures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and 5S programs
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials

What Were Looking For

Were looking for a self-motivated team player who brings a well-rounded maintenance skill set, a safety-first mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have :

  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Trade certification (Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, or Electrician) is a strong asset
  • Electrical ticket or training is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and (where qualified) electrical systems
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems or a willingness to learn
  • Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
  • Physical fitness with the ability to lift, bend, and work in elevated or confined spaces
  • Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to support shift work, weekend maintenance, and unplanned repairs as needed
