Job summary

Nature's Path seeks a ticketed Industrial Electrician for its Que Pasa Foods facility in Delta, a role focused on maintaining electrical systems and automated production equipment in a food manufacturing setting.

Candidates should read electrical diagrams, troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, motors and sensors, and work safely in a fast-paced plant environment with rotating shifts and on weekends as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or trade certification.
• Experience reading diagrams and schematic drawings.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors and relay logic.
• Certified Industrial Millwright/Industrial Electrician with electrical and mechanical skills.
• Willing to learn TIG welding.
• Steel-toed shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial production equipment.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematic drawings.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors and relay logic.
• Basic metal fabrication skills and TIG welding as needed.

• Must be on shift rotation as per production requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

• Previous experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial production equipment
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and electrical controls
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and relay logic
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematic drawings
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an asset
• TIG welding skills or willingness to learn
• Basic metal fabrication skills
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Safety-focused, reliable, and self-motivated
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Requirements and Qualifications

• Preferred experience in equipment maintenance and plant operations
• Preferred in a food manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma, or GED, or technical program or Trade certification
• Must be familiar or have knowledge of electrical control on production equipment.
• Certified Industrial Millwright/ Industrial Electrician/ Electrical engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Power Engineer with electrical and mechanical skills
• Experience reading diagrams and schematic drawings, PLC, VFD and relay logic.
• Has Tig welding skills or willing to learn.
• Basic metal fabrication skills.
• Has a positive attitude with a team player mindset
• Demonstrates performance driven to meet target outputs and deadlines
• Hard working, reliable independent and self-motivated
• Has the ability to work efficiently and in a high-paced environment
• Maintains excellent attendance record
• Steel toed shoes are required.
