Job summary

Kruger Inc. in Kamloops, BC, is offering an apprenticeship in Maintenance & Power Engineering for a Skilled Trades BC registered apprentice who has completed foundations in one of the listed trades.

The position provides hands-on experience in a Kraft Pulp Mill, working under a Maintenance Supervisor and alongside Red Seal tradespeople. The successful candidate will learn in a team-focused environment, demonstrate safety awareness, and develop problem-solving and organizational skills while

Qualifications

• Skilled Trades BC registered apprentice.
• Foundations completed in Heavy Duty Mechanics, Millwright, Pipefitter, Electrical, Instrument Mechanics or HVAC.
• Have not yet completed first year of apprenticeship.
• Previous experience in a safety sensitive environment is an asset.
• Strong computer system aptitude and experience with Microsoft Office Suite is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance activities across the Kraft Pulp Mill.
• Work closely with Red Seal tradespeople to gain knowledge in the trade.
• Follow directions, learn from feedback and maintain a positive attitude.
• Collaborate with a team to meet priorities and deadlines.
