Qualifications

• 2-5 Jahre Erfahrung in industrieller Reinigung und Wartung.
• Komfortabel im Umgang mit Fahrzeugen und Anhängern.
• Fähigkeit, in engen Räumen zu arbeiten.

Responsibilities

• Überwachen von Projekten und Aufrechterhaltung der Sauberkeit.
• Durchführen von Hochdruckreinigungen und Inspektionen.
• Teilnahme an Rettungsoperationen in engen Räumen.

Job description

GFL SSM is seeking industrial labourers to join its liquid line of business!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor assigned projects daily.
2. Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and the Industrial Services Shop.
3. Perform power washing and high-pressure water blasting as needed.
4. Conduct line snaking, drain, and pipe inspections.
5. Carry out industrial cleaning of chemical non-hazardous and hazardous wastes.
6. Assist with vacuum trucks and plant operations as required.
7. Participate in confined space entry and rescue operations for Industrial Services Projects.
8. Work in confined or tight spaces.
9. Use respirators or supplied air breathing apparatus.
10. Perform shoveling, jackhammering, squeegeeing, scraping, and heavy lifting.
11. Operate vehicles and equipment such as pickup trucks, utility trailers, forklifts, excavators, and bobcats.
12. Operate aerial boom lifts or scissor lifts as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• 2-5 years of experience in industrial cleaning and maintenance preferred.
• Must be clean-shaven to wear a respirator.
• Class G license required; AZ/DZ licenses are assets.
• Experience working in industrial settings is advantageous.
• Experience with vacuum trucks, industrial power-washing, or water-blasting is preferred.
• Experience with confined space entry or work at heights is an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Comfortable driving and maneuvering trucks and trailers.
• Friendly, professional, and able to interact with clients on-site.
• Capable of multitasking, following directions, and working independently or in teams.
• Willing to work at heights greater than 3 meters.
• Wearing protective gear such as fall arrest equipment, respirators, and Tyvek suits is required.
