Job Overview

GrizzlyTrek is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at a mine site near Williams Lake, BC. This is a contract position for a 5 day outage.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless project operations
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
  
  

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician certification
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or mining environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on a mine site
• Familiarity with automated control systems and PLCs
• Certification in first aid and H2S Alive
  
  

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in an industrial setting with exposure to outdoor conditions
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required
