Job description

PTW Energy Services is hiring an Industrial Instrument Mechanic to join our team in Hinton, AB. If you are available, we want to hear from you!

Job Details :

• Business Address : 125 Steele Crescent, Hinton, AB T7V 2G5
• Shift : Various shift schedules available
• Compensation : $45 per hour
• Working Hours : 40-60 hours per week
• Overtime : Overtime opportunities may be available on an occasional basis
• Position : Permanent, full time
• Language : English

Job Duties :

• Inspect operation of instruments and systems
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements
• Repair and adjust system components
• Complete test and maintenance reports
• Remove and replace defective parts
• Calibrate components and instruments
• Logical approach for troubleshooting
• Determine testing and maintenance procedures
• Install new measuring instruments
• Coach and instruct apprentices
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work

Requirements :

• Must possess construction and maintenance instrumentation experience
• Must have a valid instrumentation certification
• Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team
• Must be reliable and dependable (i.e., punctual and ready to work)
• Excellent communication skills
• A demonstrated ability to work safely
• Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection, and H2S Alive)
• A valid Class 5 driver's license is required
• Must be authorized to work in Canada
