Job summary

KDC/ONE is seeking a Factory Quality Hygienist to uphold hygiene and GMP standards in its Quebec facility. Reporting to the Quality Director, you will oversee cleaning, sanitation, equipment maintenance, and staff practices to ensure product quality and safety.

You will lead hygiene initiatives, schedule corrective actions, and train colleagues while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Bilingual French/English required for site communications and documentation.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in microbiology, or any other combination of relevant training and/or experience.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical field.
• A good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• The ability to communicate in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and ensure effective cleaning practices to maintain a pristine plant environment.
• Lead implementation of cleaning methods and processes.
• Schedule regular cleans on sensitive equipment to keep products at optimal quality.
• Audit and verify production facilities for standards compliance.
• Train and mentor colleagues on hygiene and sanitation best practices.
• Monitor and maintain a clean plant environment across operations.
• Identify contamination threats and propose effective risk mitigations.

The mission we offer you:

Reporting to the Quality Director, the Factory Quality Hygienist plays a key role in preventing contamination risks and maintaining the plant's hygiene and quality standards.

You will ensure effective cleaning, sanitizing and operations practices in the manufacturing and packaging sectors. You will also pay particular attention to the design and maintenance of equipment, good staff practices, storage and handling of raw materials as well as the general maintenance of the work environment.

An overview of your everyday life

• Inspect and improve cleaning practices throughout the plant to ensure a pristine environment.

• Schedule regular thorough cleanings on sensitive equipment to keep our products at the best level.
• Audit and verify production facilities to ensure standards are met.

• Identify contamination threats and propose effective solutions to address them, protecting the health and safety of our employees, as well as the quality of our products.
• Ensure compliance with GMP rules and health and safety regulations.

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

• A bachelor's degree in microbiology, or any other combination of relevant training and/or experience;
• Experience in the pharmaceutical field;
• A good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP);
• The ability to communicate in French and English.

Bilingualism is required in order to be able to communicate with certain team members and understand the technical documentation provided by our customers, mainly in English.
