Responsibilities:

  • Support site management in industrial hygiene issues
  • Participate in the development and deployment of industrial hygiene programs and tools such as the respiratory protection program, hearing protection program, etc.
  • Work closely with hygiene managers at sites in the Montreal region.
  • Conduct on-site qualitative and quantitative health/industrial hygiene risk analyses.
  • Participate in the development of annual planning and sampling strategies for employee and environmental exposure.
  • Conduct sampling campaigns, including field planning and material preparation, report preparation, and presentation of results to employees and management.
  • Carry out trend analysis of industrial hygiene data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in the development of training related to the industrial hygiene program.
  • Monitor regulations and participate in industrial hygiene impact assessments.
  • Evaluate/approve new industrial hygiene materials and processes.
  • Support sectors as OHS advisor.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
  • You hold a master’s degree in industrial Hygiene.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, presentation & communication skills.
  • You have the ability to think strategically, search for original solutions, and possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • You are autonomous, structured, and able to coordinate the implementation of several projects simultaneously.
