Sunbelt Rentals—the fastest-growing rental business in North America—is seeking a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our new Surrey division.

Responsibilities

The HVAC Technician 3 demonstrates professionalism through positive communication and appearance, delivering portable HVAC equipment to customers and showing proficiency in the use, operation, and repair of all company equipment. This role also repairs the most complex Climate Control equipment, provides training and guidance to other Technicians, checks in and repairs equipment, performs general shop duties, and delivers/installs CC equipment as needed.

Qualifications

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired
• Previous experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and acceptable driving record
• RACM Red Seal required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• May need to provide mechanic’s tools of trade
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
