Job description

Securiguard is seeking a motivated and experienced Emergency & Prevention Services personnel for a high-profile industrial client in Kitimat.

Sign-on Bonus: $1000 *Conditions Apply*

Hours: 12-hour rotational shifts including days, nights, and weekends.

Wage: Starting wages depend on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities: The role involves a variety of security, emergency services, and HSE duties, including site-wide services such as snow clearing, industrial landscaping, and road maintenance. Employees must familiarize themselves with the client’s OH&S program, environmental policies, and marine security regulations. Duties include First Aid incident recording per WSBC regulations, dispatch duties, report writing, and multitasking. Employees must meet physical fitness standards tested semi-annually, work in fast-paced team environments, and participate in monthly emergency training scenarios.

Requirements: Ideal candidates will have the following certifications/experience, but training will be provided for motivated learners:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Fire Fighter 10.01 & 10.02 certifications
• BST (Basic Security Training) and valid Security License
• OFA 3 or EMR certification
• Ability to pass an oral fluid drug test
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Equipment Operator Certificate or relevant experience
• Experience working at heights and in confined spaces

• MARSEC clearance training (asset)

• Ability to multitask and work long hours in various weather conditions
