Our Opening and Your Responsibilities:
Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire an Industrial Field Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting and repairing industry-related products, performing calibrations and preventative maintenance duties, resolving first-line customer service issues, and accurately completing service reports in the city of Mississauga and surrounding areas. You could also lead efforts to modernize, upgrade, and convert the customer's existing equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Troubleshoot and repair all Mettler Toledo products within the Business Group.
2. Perform system and equipment installations, calibrations, and preventative maintenance duties as required.
3. Ensure customer uptime requirements are met and that PM work at assigned accounts is completed on time.
4. Complete system configuration and testing prior to delivery.
5. Provide technical solutions, consultant, and application support to the customer and the sales force.
6. Responsible for resolving first-line customer complaints and invoicing problems.
7. Ensure vehicle service and maintenance requirements are met.
8. All other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:

1. Minimum 2-year college diploma in Engineering/Electronics/Instrumentation Technology and/or Computer Science and experience in a technical support role, technical troubleshooting or technical installation in the industrial electronics technology marketplace is required.
2. The ability to lift, transport, and place test weights and equipment of up to 20 Kg (testing of equipment may require movement of up to 300 Kg in 20 Kg increments).
3. Must possess a valid Driver's License.
4. Willing to work overtime.
5. Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S.
6. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
