Job description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of various industrial equipment, including packaging, processing, and material handling systems.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our high-speed processing and packaging equipment. Your expertise will play a critical role in maintaining our quality food products and meeting customer demands.

As an experienced Millwright (433A) with exceptional mechanical skills, you will be responsible for performing hands-on repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment. You will also be required to proactively implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and boost productivity.

Additionally, you will be expected to perform facility upkeep tasks, such as repairs to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. You will work closely with our Process, Production, QA, and R&D teams to enhance line efficiency and ensure all tasks are completed safely and comply with industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance. A licensed Millwright (433A) certification is essential, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

You will also need to be an effective communicator, able to take and give clear verbal and written instructions. Strong analytical and electronic aptitude, with the ability to perform basic calculations, is also required.

Physical capabilities, including the ability to bend frequently and lift heavy equipment, are necessary for this role. Additionally, you must thrive in a collaborative team environment and be able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
