Your Key Responsibilities
- Calculation
- Create and maintain standardized quotation values and calculations for RFQ and PEP processes.
- Analyze and measure setup and cycle times, materials, etc., aiming to reduce costs.
- Support annual capital investment budget planning.
- Provide costed bills of material for budget planning.
- Perform cost comparisons and weak point analyses for product variants.
- Maintain calculation systems, methods, master data, and guidelines.
Order Independent Master Data
- Create and maintain manufacturing process master data in SAP.
- Maintain material master data including status, batch size, procurement type.
- Create and maintain manufacturing master data like work centers and capacity models.
Workplace Design
- Perform ergonomic inspections, support risk analysis, and approve ergonomic designs.
- Support ergonomic network communication and knowledge transfer.
Work Methods
- Define and communicate methods for cycle time and setup time analysis.
- Conduct performance comparisons and derive countermeasures.
- Optimize production specifications concerning costs, quality, and scheduling.
Product Development (PEP)
- Support product development projects as assigned.
Investment
- Calculate and forecast machine utilization.
- Prepare proposals for machine and building investments.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Experience
- At least 4 years supporting manufacturing processes.
- Basic bearing design knowledge.
- Blueprint and CAD reading skills.
- Process planning and maintenance experience.
- Experience with SAP material master data, BOM, and number registry.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Access.
