Job Opportunity: Industrial Engine Field Technician at Cleveland Brothers

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland, is seeking an Industrial Engine Field Technician.

We are looking for a motivated self-starter to join our team of experienced technicians. The role involves providing industrial engine service to the petroleum industry, specifically diagnosing and repairing diesel and gas engines, and supporting the oil and gas sector with natural gas and diesel products.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel, gas, and marine engines independently and successfully.
  2. Assemble and disassemble equipment and parts safely, following manufacturer specifications.
  3. Repair and maintain temperature control and air compression equipment.
  4. Complete service reports accurately and detail work performed to fulfill work orders.
  5. Meet all Department of Transportation physical and licensing requirements.
  6. Work overtime as needed to meet customer demands and repair schedules.
Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
  • Possess appropriate training and relevant experience in natural gas, diesel, and industrial engine systems.
  • Must have a valid commercial driver’s license, pass a driver’s physical, and all relevant tests for operating a service truck.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments with exposure to noise, heat, cold, and other hazards.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing, walking, and reaching.
  • Graduate of a technical or military school, or equivalent work experience.
