Job summary

Sanimax is seeking an Industrial Electrician Technician for our Montréal facility. You will install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems in a fast-paced industrial setting, reporting to the Maintenance Team Area Supervisor.

The role requires a DEC in Industrial Electronics or Electromechanics, a valid Licence C, and 3–5 years of automation experience. You will work Monday to Friday with rotating shifts and enjoy benefits such as comprehensive insurance,

Qualifications

• DEC in Industrial Electronics or Electromechanics.
• Licence C or Apprentice Licence C.
• 3 to 5 years in industrial automation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Rockwell automation systems (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View, SLC500).
• Experience with motors, starters, and VFDs; PLCs and wiring.
• Knowledge of industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, IO-Link, HART) is a plus.
• 600V electrical distribution knowledge; proficient with MS Office; functional English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; strong teamwork and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, calibrate, and maintain electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment.
• Service and maintain measurement instruments and process control devices for temperature, pressure, flow, level, and pH.
• Install, diagnose, configure, and troubleshoot motors, VFDs, and starters connected to automation systems.
• Understand and troubleshoot PLC logic and operation; perform PLC I/O wiring.
• Conduct daily electrical testing and diagnose equipment failures; track deficiencies and repairs.
• Repair, install, test, and commission electrical control systems, transformers, regulators, motors, and generators.
• Ensure compliance with Electrical Code requirements and provide status updates and documentation.
