Job summary
PreCon Precast Limited, a member of the OSCO Construction Group, is seeking an Industrial Electrician for our Woodstock, ON facility. The role focuses on designing, assembling, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment, with duties including panel work and startup involvement.
Candidates should have a certified 442A or 309A license, 5+ years in industrial settings, and strong communication.
Qualifications
- Certified 442A Industrial Electrician or 309A Construction Maintenance Electrician.
- Minimum 5 years in commercial/industrial environments.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience supervising and mentoring apprentices.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and electrical code specifications.
- Maintain and repair industrial equipment and control panels.
- Install, replace and troubleshoot distribution equipment and controls.
- Support maintenance team and project startups; work with apprentices.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines.
- Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with engineers and management on process improvements.
- Attend production meetings and support overtime as required.
