Job summary

Coke Canada Bottling is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to ensure smooth operation of production lines. You will troubleshoot, perform immediate maintenance, and proactively keep equipment running at our facilities.

The role requires reading diagrams, basic IT skills, and experience in a high-speed bottling environment is preferred. We offer a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for growth within a globally recognized brand.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-5 years industrial maintenance experience as a millwright.
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams.
  • PLC knowledge would be an asset.
  • Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and provide immediate maintenance support to production lines.
  • Repair equipment and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Overhaul and install new equipment.
  • Rebuild and fabricate parts.
  • Perform facility maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
  • Generate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory.
  • Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
  • Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups.

  • Hourly Rate – Probation $52.27 and $53.77 after probation

About This Opportunity

The Maintenance Mechanic role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of production lines, involving troubleshooting, immediate maintenance support, and proactive measures at Coke Canada production facilities.

Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of industrial maintenance experience required as a millwright.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret diagrams
  • Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge would be an asset.
  • Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
  • Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment, Bottling experience preferred
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Basic computer skills, usage of SAP system
