Job summary

PTW Energy Services in Western Canada is seeking 3rd and 4th Year Electrical Apprentices for a 14-day shutdown near Conklin, Alberta. You will assist Journeyman Electricians, interpret drawings and codes, and install motors, PLCs, control circuits, conduit and panels while upholding safety and quality.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $40.21–$42.57 CAD with overtime at 1.5x, comprehensive extended health benefits after 3 months, a retirement savings plan with employer matching, and referral

Qualifications

Industrial electrical experience or equivalent.
Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and client satisfaction.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation of industrial electrical systems.
Interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical codes.
Install motors, PLCs, control circuits, conduit, wiring, and panels.
Support three-phase systems and motor terminations.
Follow Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), company procedures, and OHS safety standards.
Other duties as required.
