Medallion Energy Services Inc. is hiring Apprentice Electricians for a full-time industrial construction position in Canada. The role focuses on supporting oil and gas electrical installations, maintenance, and system testing with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

You will work in a stable, supportive environment, developing skills through hands-on experience in a range of electrical systems and industrial equipment, while complying with Canadian Electrical Code standards.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-level electrical skills required or in progress toward journeyman status.
• Basic reading of electrical drawings and codes is helpful.
• Good safety practices and ability to work in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to determine layouts of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Install, examine, replace or repair motors, drivers, transformers, switchgear, and related components.
• Install and inspect wiring, conduits, lighting fixtures, and related electrical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and testing of electrical systems.
• Size and install circuits, panels, conduits, and protective devices to meet standards.
• Repair electrical failure and replace parts as needed to prevent hazards.
• Fabricate and install conduits and perform panel work.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance activities.
