As The Successful Candidate, You Will
  • Perform mass and energy balances and prepare process flow diagrams.
  • Actively participate in preparing technical calculations, reports, specifications, and datasheets
  • Data analysis and computer simulation using specialty software.
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team, with a focus on Industrial Clean Tech projects.
  • Meetings and collaboration with client teams.
What You Will Learn
  • How to work in a project-based environment.
  • Technical concepts, mass/energy balances and other calculations.
  • Gas handling/mine ventilation equipment sizing and troubleshooting.
  • Report writing, proposal preparation and presentation skills.
  • The process of developing an engineering design from concept to construction.
What You Bring To The Role
  • Recent graduate or working towards a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering at an accredited post-secondary institution in Canada. Currently in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year preferred.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Strong communication skills.

CompensationRange: $82,000.00 - $84,000.00
At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.
Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location. In addition to base pay, our total rewards package may include performance-based incentives, comprehensive benefits, and other programs designed to support your well-being and growth.
