Job summary

Propak Systems Ltd. is seeking a hands-on shop floor operator in Alberta to set up and run bandsaws, cutting metals to exact specs from work orders.

You will stage, kit and move materials with a forklift, support basic inventory checks, and ensure proper material traceability and BOM compliance. The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing, forklift certification (or willingness to train), and the ability to read tapes, calipers and blueprints.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in manufacturing, heavy fabrication, or machine shop.

Responsibilities

• Operate bandsaws to cut metals to exact specs per work orders.
• Stage, kit and move materials to manufacturing bays.
• Perform daily forklift operations and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Conduct basic inventory checks and ensure material traceability.
