Position: Indirect Procurement Manager Canada - Marketing & Distribution

Location: Thornhill, Ontario, CA

You will be part of Galderma’s global Indirect Procurement team, managing indirect spend in a matrixed structure. This hands-on role leads procurement activities in Canada, focusing on Marketing & Sales, Freight & Distribution, and supporting other categories. This role does not involve supply chain or direct materials.

Your Mission:

Manage category strategies, stakeholder & supplier relationships, and drive cost reduction and growth initiatives. Collaborate with a dedicated team committed to integrity and excellence.

Main Tasks:

• Sourcing Implementation: Develop strategies aligned with local market needs, ensure compliance, and support category policies.
• Funnel Management & Savings: Execute strategic opportunities, manage demand & spend, and optimize processes.
• Business & Procurement Partnering: Engage stakeholders, translate global strategies locally, and support supplier audits.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Identify and qualify suppliers, manage accounts, foster innovation, and lead negotiations.
• Buying & S2P: Expertise in procurement channels and processes.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Procurement or related field.
• 7-10 years’ experience in a mature, strategic procurement environment, preferably in Pharma, Industrial, or FMCG sectors.
• Experience in Marketing & Sales and Freight & Distribution categories.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong negotiation, strategic, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Coupa, and lean methodologies is advantageous.
