The Indigenous Summer Student Program provides Indigenous students with invaluable work experience in a welcoming, culturally safe, and inclusive environment. There are many benefits to working at ATCO and here are just a few of the benefits you can expect.

This posting is for positions in Whitehorse, YT and Yellowknife, NT.

You are eligible to apply for the program if you are:

  • An Indigenous student (First Nations, Inuit, or Métis)
  • Starting or returning to a full-time post-secondary and/or trades program in September 2025
  • Committed to working for 4 months from May to August on a full-time basis
  • Able to provide a resume, proof of post-secondary enrollment, and Proof of Indigenous Identity (i.e. Status Card, Metis Citizenship card or Inuit Beneficiary Card)

Please note that you must attach your resume within the application process. Once your application has been submitted, you may be requested to provide proof of post-secondary enrollment.
