Job summary

UBC Sauder School of Business seeks an Indigenous Student Engagement Advisor to develop, deliver, and evaluate programs supporting Indigenous students across undergraduate, graduate and Diploma in Accounting programs. You will collaborate with university partners to help students become successful scholars, able to engage with the campus community and pursue their personal and career goals.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Experience supporting Indigenous students or communities is preferred.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver programs supporting Indigenous students across undergraduate, graduate and diploma programs.
• Advise instructors and departments on integrating Indigenous peer-supported learning into curricula.
• Lead and coordinate programs such as Ch’nook Scholars and student development activities.
• Identify and support Indigenous students in crisis and refer to campus resources as needed.
• Collaborate with university partners on learning outcomes, budgets, and program assessment.
