As theIndigenous Relations and Engagement Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in advancing the company’s relationships with First Nations communities as an industry partner for Indigenous peoples. This position requires an experienced Indigenous relations professional with strong connections within Indigenous communities and with Indigenous leaders. This individual will also support the design and implementation of Canfor’s Indigenous engagement initiatives, aiming to build and strengthen relationships with Indigenous communities in and around our Northern Alberta divisions. The role covers Whitecourt, Fox Creek, Grande Prairie and Acheson/Edmontonareas, and the successful candidate may be based in either Whitecourt or Grande Prairie, with frequent travel required.
