Job summary

A leading natural gas provider in Canada is seeking an Indigenous and Stakeholder Relations Lead who will build and nurture relationships with Indigenous communities and stakeholders. This role is crucial for advancing Indigenous engagement and ensuring corporate objectives are aligned with community needs. Candidates should have experience in stakeholder relations and a strong understanding of Indigenous histories. This full-time position is based in either Vancouver, Terrace, or Smithers.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Indigenous or stakeholder relations.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous Peoples' histories and cultures, especially in BC.
  • Experience with regulatory bodies is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities.
  • Lead consultations and engagements with stakeholders.
  • Support corporate objectives with Indigenous priorities.
