The Indigenous Opportunities Coordinator is an in-office position located in Burnaby, BC supporting a large multi-year facilities management contract with BC Hydro. The role will be based at the BC Hydro Edmonds office location and reports directly to the Procurement Specialist.
The Indigenous Opportunities Coordinator will lead the development and execution of the Indigenous Engagement Plan within the BC Hydro facilities management contract. This key role will participate in all procurement activities involving First Nations Designated Businesses (FNDB), working closely with the Procurement Specialist. They will also build relationships with FNDB through respectful practices and community engagement, representing the client with integrity.

The expected salary range for this role is between $70,000-$80,000. The starting salary will be based on several factors such as the successful candidate’s qualifications, including but not limited to education and experience. Salary is one component of Black & McDonald’s total rewards package. Total rewards vary by position and may include additional offerings such as group insurance benefits, pension plan, annual performance bonus, career development programs, and other HR programs.
