Location: Near the Arctic Circle, Quebec

Position Type: Temporary

Wage/Salary Range: Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications

Shift Schedule: To be determined based on project needs

Hours Per Day: Approximately 10–12 hours

Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Pad Building Worker to join our Valued Clients team at a project near the Arctic Circle in Quebec. This is a temporary position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety. The expected start date is July 16. This role includes potential work in the USA following project completion. Flights to and from the work site will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Construct and maintain drilling pads according to project specifications

Operate chainsaws and other equipment safely and efficiently

Follow all safety guidelines and participate in mandatory training

Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to ensure timely project delivery

Qualifications:

Standard First Aid certification

WHMIS (Canada)

Chainsaw Safety Course (non-Fallers course)

Hands-on chainsaw experience in field environments

OSHA HAZCOM – 29 CFR 1910.1200 (U.S. WHMIS equivalent)

Valid Canadian passport (required for work in the USA)

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous pad building experience in construction or oilfield settings

Willingness and ability to travel for extended projects

Remote outdoor work near the Arctic Circle, including exposure to extreme weather

Physically demanding tasks, including equipment operation and manual labor

Required PPE includes: rain gear, steel toe rain boots, and a high-visibility vest

Competitive compensation structure with overtime as applicable

All additional safety training provided

Flights provided to and from the job site

Potential for continued work in the USA
