Indigenous Food Facilitator
The Indigenous Food Facilitator position will drive the development and facilitation of food workshops and programs for youth, adults and seniors.
The Basics:
Job Term: Full time/permanent
Start: Immediately. Weekend and evening work will be required.
Wage: $25/hr; 40 hrs/week, full benefits after 3 months and Group RRSP benefits after 1 year.
Location: Thunder Bay, ON

Roots Community Food Centre is first and foremost about working with people. We work in five main areas – Food Access, Food Literacy, Supportive Employment, Advocacy and Aging Well. Most programs span multiple areas and are interconnected with each other.

The Indigenous Food Facilitator is a key role at Roots CFC that works in all areas of our organization. This person is very present and involved during our seniors and Elders meals, works closely with key community partners, and has an active role in our food literacy work.
