Job summary

Inclusion NWT seeks a Facilitator to deliver Skills Training and Supported Employment to adults with disabilities. You will coach on-the-job, support literacy and social development, and help clients access paid work, contracts and volunteer roles.

The role emphasizes collaboration with staff, tailoring supports to each client, and promoting independence and community inclusion. A relevant diploma and at least one year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant field and a background in serving people with disabilities.
• Strong communication, organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to adapt, solve problems and handle crisis situations calmly.

Responsibilities

• Direct service: on-the-job coaching and instruction to promote employment skills.
• Support community-based positions, education and social involvement.
• Provide literacy and social skills development and transition support.
• Suggest accommodations and collaborate with staff to meet client needs.
• Build relationships and assist clients in achieving personal goals.
