Full-Time Inclusive Education Assistants (IEAs)

Penticton Christian School (PCS) is a multi-denominational, multi-ethnical, K-12, Christian professional learning community. It is classified as a Group 1 independent school, providing provincially mandated BC curriculum to its students.

The school has a strong and very successful Inclusive Education Program.

Up to two full-time inclusive education assistant positions are available at the school, beginning August 28, 2025, and ending June 25, 2026. (Consideration may also be given to qualified applicants seeking part-time employment)

Successful candidates are committed Christians and possess the ability to work closely with other staff members, Inclusive Education students, parents, and the school’s administration. Experience working with children with ASD, Down Syndrome, and/or chronic health conditions would be an asset, as would IEP writing experience (pro-D and training will be ongoing). Hourly wages will be commensurate with experience, education, and the recommendations as contained in the 2025/26 Compensation Report of the Society of Christian Schools in BC, between $24.61 and $29.63 per hour.

This posting may be cancelled at any time, without prior notice, and is subject to the school receiving additional inclusive education funding. The school wishes to thank all applicants for their interest. However, only those candidates short-listed for an interview will be contacted.
