Qualificações

• Minimum high school diploma required; preference for post-secondary certificate or diploma in a human services field.
• Preference for training in special education or related field and experience with individuals with special needs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, plus excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Support students individually and in groups with classroom learning activities.
• Reinforce instruction as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with independent work and monitor progress.
• Supervise students in classroom, hallways, playground, arrivals, dismissals and school activities.
• Support behavior management strategies as directed.
• Assist with observation, documentation, and reporting for meetings and conferences.
• May assist with personal care needs.
