We’re seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our growing North American team. This role is the first point of contact for potential customers and involves driving revenue by generating and qualifying leads. The ideal candidate has experience in lead generation or selling technology-based solutions. If you're looking to advance your sales career, this could be the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities include:

  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing channels via phone and email to drive new business;
  • Nurture inbound leads to qualification for our inside sales team;
  • Create a positive first impression and provide excellent customer experience;
  • Identify customer needs to determine fit with Lightspeed solutions;
  • Manage multiple lead sources, including calls, emails, chats, and referrals;
  • Maintain accurate communication logs in Salesforce;
  • Collaborate with the Sales Development Manager to develop strategies and meet sales targets;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of sales or customer-facing experience;
  • Experience with technology, software, or mobile solutions is a plus;
  • Hospitality experience is an asset;
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual in French is advantageous;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Self-motivated, outgoing, and autonomous;
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to understand non-technical audiences;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a positive attitude.
