Responsibilities

Reporting to the Inbound Manager, the Inbound Clerkwill have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide administrational support for the Inbound team
  • Communicate with suppliers, corporate and retail locations as required to receive or supply information
  • Book appointments for incoming shipments from manufacturers via email and telephone
  • Prepare receiving tickets for Inbound department in order to receive goods on incoming loads
  • Reconcile receiving reports to ensure accuracy
  • Report any load discrepancies or problems via the NSDLD form
  • Communicate with the Purchasing department
  • Update container list and communicate with transport company relating to the delivery of containers and pick up of empty containers
  • Call out empty trailers
  • File receiving packages
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proficient knowledge of department systems and procedures; WMS systems and procedures; Retail system
  • Experienced in the use of MS Office, data analysis and generation of reports
  • Able to multi-task and solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
