Job Description

Role Summary
The In-Store Merchandiser executes visual merchandising while respecting the company’s standards to support a superior shopping experience for our customers.

Qualifications

Critical Functions

1. Visual Presentation
2. Demonstrates creativity in dressing window mannequins to showcase the store’s inventory and adheres to visual standards, including any mandatory directives.
3. Dresses in-store mannequins and bustforms following visual standards on styling and pinning.
4. Ensures displays (face-outs, t-stands) reflect adjacent sections and promote a fashionable, accessorized message.
5. Completes the Visual Presentation Checklist with management, using Head Office floor plans, visual updates, and marketing directives.
6. Communicates deficiencies and unsafe store conditions to management.
7. Orders and replaces lightbulbs in the store, backroom, and exit signs to ensure sufficient lighting.
8. Merchandising
9. Merchandises the store with a strong knowledge of current fashion trends.
10. Assists store management in executing marketing directives with urgency.
11. Maintains standards for folding, sizing, proper hanger usage, and removal of excess tags, respecting SOP guidelines.
12. Customer Service
13. Maintains constant customer awareness and provides assistance when needed.
14. Prepares incoming and outgoing merchandise promptly.
15. Properly stores visual elements when not in use, discarding outdated signage as per directives.
